NFL Teams Are Interested In Pursing NC State’s DJ Burns To Play Offensive Tackle

N.C. State big man DJ Burns has been the darling of March during the NCAA tournament and rightfully so.

The Wolfpack star has led his team on a Cinderella run to the Final Four that included winning five games in five days in the ACC Tournament and then proceeding to win four NCAA Tournament games as a No. 11 seed with wins over Marquette and Duke in the Elite 8 to advance to the Final Four.

On Saturday night in Phoenix, N.C. State will square off against No. 1 seed Purdue and are two wins away from a national championship.

But what happens after the Madness ends? Well, Burns could be pursed by another sports league.

According to Peter Schrager of NFL Network, who spoke to multiple scouts and general managers about Burns, he could get a big turnout and potentially money to participate in a Pro Day workout the week after the Final Four.

As of now the sensational big man is focused on continuing this insane run but what comes after is anyone’s guess. If he does decide to give up basketball for football, he won’t be the first.
