Nobody should ever take what they see on social media seriously, especially on April Fool’s Day.
On Monday, the Florida Atlantic Owls’ football program pranked it’s fanbase into think they’d be playing a football game against their rival South Florida Bulls on an aircraft carrier in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
The Owls’ officially social media account posted a graphic with a football field complete with FAU loges on an aircraft career with a date and time scheduled for the matchup.
Most fans quickly caught the joke given that it was posted on April 1st but others were heartbroken to realize that it wasn’t true.
