2024 NFL Draft Prospect DT T’Vrondre Sweat Arrested On DWI Charge

Former Texas defensive tackle T’Vondre Sweat was arrested on Sunday afternoon in Austin, Texas and charged with driving while intoxicated, according to Billy Gates of KXAN.com.

He has been released on a $3,000 bond. DWI is classified as a Class B misdemeanor in Texas.

The 22-year-old was named both the Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Year and Outland Trophy winner (best interior lineman) in the 2023 season after registering a pair of sacks, eight tackles for loss and four pass deflections.

He’s expected to be a late first, early second round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
