Josh Allen is one of the most athletically gifted players in the NBA, standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing in at 240lbs.
Allen feels that his skill set would translate well to another sport, and he attempted to explain why he could contribute to a team in the NBA.
“I think there’s guys on both sides that have the ability to,” Allen said, when asked about Austin Rivers’ comments on NBA players in the NFL.
“I think I can give some good minutes. A ‘three-and-D guy.’ Like, I’m gonna bust my tail on defense and chuck up a shot or two and pray that it goes in. But I’m gonna box out and go get some rebounds,” Allen said about his own chances of success in professional basketball.
“I think I have the tools to do that. But I can give you, like, I can give you a good six or seven minutes off the bench.”
You gotta love the confidence.
