Bill Belichick Met His 24-Year-Old Girlfriend While “Bonding Over A Philosophy Project On A Flight” In 2021

Bill Belichick took the world by storm over the weekend when it was reported that he was dating a 24-year-old cheerleader named Jordan Hudson.

But how did the 70-year-old Belichick meet the 24-year-old Hudson?

Well, according to TMZ Sports, Belichick met Hudson in 2021 on a flight from Boston to Florida. One of Hudson’s former cheerleading teammates told TMZ that the two “bonded over a philosophy project the student-athlete had been working on.” Hudson, who describes herself as a “philosopher” and “glamorous girl scout” in her Instagram bio, won a national cheerleading championship while studying at Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts.

Belichick and Hudson reportedly exchanged numbers and stayed in touch, chatting about “her school work and the X’s and O’s of her cheerleading routines,” as TMZ puts it. The couple apparently began dating the next year, after Belichick’s 16-year relationship with his previous partner Linda Holliday ended.

The two had been able to keep their relationship private and out of the public eye despite Hudson attending some Patriots games in 2022 and 2023. The two were also spotted in New Orleans in January 2023 and again in August of the year.

Although they’ve largely kept their relationship private, Hudson attended some of Belichick’s games in 2022 and 2023 and was spotted with him in New Orleans in January 2023 and again in August. Belichick was seen in the back row of a cheerleading competition in the Washington, D.C., area in March, while Hudson attended Brady’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony last week alongside the former Patriots coach, according to the Daily Mail.

There was also that moment during Tom Brady’s roast when Gronkowski joked about Belichick dating a 24-year-old. That clearly, as we know now, wasn’t a joke:
