We are in the midst of a down time for the NFL between the end of minicamps and the start of training camp and that leaves players with a lot of free time on their hands.
For Vikings first-round pick QB J.J. McCarthy, that means an opportunity to throw out the first pitch for the Minnesota Twins. The bad news is, the first pitch was god-awful. the good news? McCarthy has some free time to work on his baseball pitching skills.
