Police in Nashville, Tennessee are investigating a dead body that was found near Nissan Stadium, home of the Titans.
The body was found inside a tent near a parking lot on the site. There was reportedly a tarp covering the body, though it wasn’t wrapped up in it.
News Channel 5 in Nashville had more details:
The scene consists of a dead individual found inside a tent near Lot M. A spokesperson with the Metro Nashville Police Department clarified to NewsChannel 5 that the body wasn’t wrapped in a tarp, but there was a tarp covering found near the body. No foul play is suspected, police said.
Police said the person who died was an unhoused man who hadn’t been seen for a couple of days. Those who knew him were attempting to locate him.
Nissan Stadium is currently under construction and the team isn’t set to begin preseason play until August. The team’s first regular season game will be September 15th against the New York Jets.
