CeeDee Lamb Throws Shade At Jerry Jones For Saying He Has ‘No Urgency’ In Giving Him A Contract Extension

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones emphasized on Thursday that he’s in no rush to sign star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb to a new contract.

“I don’t have any urgency to get it done,” Jones said, per The Athletic’s Jon Machota.

Lamb, who is currently holding out while awaiting a new contract, couldn’t resist but to laugh at the Cowboys owner.

Lamb’s sentiment towards Jones’ comments were also shared by another Cowboys star – Micah Parsons, who retweeted Lamb:

Lamb also removed the phrase “America’s Team” from his X bio and replaced it with “Eights.”

Lamb’s desire for a new contract comes after the best season of his career where he led the league in receptions with 135, recorded the second-most receiving yards with 1,749 and the third most touchdowns with 12.

Unless Dallas and Lamb get something done before the regular season, he will be playing on the final year of his rookie deal and will earn $17.991 million.
