The Kansas City Chiefs have locked up another one of their cornerstone players for the foreseeable future.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Chiefs have agreed to a four-year, $72 million contract extension with center Creed Humphrey. The deal makes Humphrey the highest paid center in NFL history.
The 25-year-old Humphrey is a two-time Super Bowl champion, two-time Pro Bowler and was a second-team All Pro in 2022. Humphrey has been ol’ reliable for the Chiefs, starting every game of his three-year career and is now considered the best center in the NFL.
