The Chicago Bears have been featured on HBO’s “Hard Knocks” this year and while it’s been very enjoyable to see Caleb Williams, Rome Odunze and the rest of the Bears throughout training camp and the preseason, there seems to be something missing.
And that something is the explicit language we are so accustomed to hearing from coaches and players during practice/games. The first three episodes have been very clean from that standpoint and we now know why.
I’ll be honest, this team curses much less than any other team I’ve been around, but it is out of respect for the McCaskey family,”Ā Hard Knocks director Shannon Furman told CHGO Bears. “It’s something that they don’t do and wouldn’t want to see it, so it’s kind of a decision that was made out of respect for them letting us in their house and wanting to be respectful to them.”
The Bears will play one more preseason game on Thursday against theĀ Kansas City ChiefsĀ before getting ready for the regular season.
