Chargers Players Had To Be Rescued From Stuck Hotel Elevator Ahead Of Preseason Game vs Cowboys

Several Los Angeles Chargers players and team officials had to be rescued from a stuck hotel elevator on Friday night.

The Chargers are in Dallas to take on the Cowboys at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday in the team’s preseason finale.

The Chargers said in a statement that around 7:30 p.m. local time the Dallas Fire-Rescue squad assisted everyone safely out of the elevator through a ceiling panel and into an adjacent elevator.

According to Zachary Yanes of WFAA in Dallas-Forth Worth, a total of 15 people associated with the Chargers became trapped when the elevator became stuck in a “blind shaft” between the floors in the hotel.

The Fire-Rescue team were unsuccessful in their attempts to get the elevator working again, so the Urban Search and Rescue squad was called in.

The Chargers-Cowboys will kick off at 4:30 p.m. on NFL Network.
