The New England Patriots went into the final preseason game against the Washington Commanders still undecided about who their starting quarterback was going to be.
That decision might have been made for them after Jacoby Brissett went down with an injury after taking this hit. Brissett was seen grimacing and grabbing his shoulder while on the sideline.
He was replaced by Drake Maye on the next drive.
Maye was impressive when he came in.
