Bengals Ban Reporters From Filming Players Crossing Street To Practice After Being Roasted Online

Not only are the Cincinnati Bengals one of the cheapest organizations in the NFL but they apparently are one of the softest.

On Wednesday, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic posted a video on social media of Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins walking to practice. The video went viral because it made people realize that the Bengals require players to cross a street in order to get to their practice field.

Many people online mocked them for it and it clearly didn’t sit well with the Bengals, who decided to ban reporters from filming players crossing the street.

Yes, they really did that.

On Thursday, Jay Morrison of Pro Football Network tweeted that Cincinnati has stopped reporters from taking pictures of players as they cross the street to participate in practice.

The entrance to the Bengals’ practice fields is located at the corner of West Pete Rose Way and Central Avenue; the latter is a major thoroughfare that runs alongside U.S. Route 52 near the Ohio River.

Cincinnati is scheduled to open its season Sunday against the New England Patriots.
