It was a rough morning for a Cleveland sports radio host.
Fresh off a Week 1 beatdown at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys, the last thing Cleveland sports radio host Ken Carmen and Anthony Lima wanted to do was take calls on Baker Mayfield, the former No. 1 overall pick by the Browns in 2018, who they got rid of in favor of Deshaun Watson.
The host did not like the question and had a complete meltdown live on-air.
“The very first call out of the box, we’re gonna do this?” Carman emphatically said. “I know what his quarterback rating was. I know that he was good. Guys, I’m not doing it right out of the damn box — can I have a little bit of time before we do this?… he ain’t coming home, he ain’t coming back — only to play us, that’s it. He had a great day down there, congratulations to all his success — I can’t undo the trade. I can’t undo it.”
Carman cuts off the caller and screams about how he can’t “undo the trade” and has no interest in debating the two signal-callers right out of the gate.
Baker Mayfield has resurrected his career in Tampa, leading the Buccaneers to a NFC South title and a playoff win. Meanwhile, the Cleveland Browns are stuck with Deshaun Watson, who well.. sucks.
