
The last thing the Kansas City Chiefs needed was more injuries.
Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened during Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
In the first quarter, Patrick Mahomes threw an interception and while he was trying to make the tackle on the interception return, he inadvertently hit wide receiver Rashee Rice right in the knee, bending it awkwardly.
Rice was taken to he sideline but struggled to put any weight on it. He was carted to the locker room.
