Weather Channel Reporter Trolls Falcons’ Super Bowl Loss Amid Hurricane Milton Coverage

The Altanta Falcons will never escape their nightmare of losing Super Bowl LI after leading 28-3.

Everyone remembers how Tom Brady and the New England Patriots came back from a 28-3 deficit int he second half to win Super Bowl LI, the Falcons have been catching strays choking away that game for years now.

The Falcons caught another stray on Wednesday night after Hurricane Milton made landfall in Florida, as a Weather Channel reporter in the eye of the storm warned locals of a second surge that would hit the area after the eye passed. He used the infamous Falcons’ loss to get his point across.

“Enjoy the little halftime show that Mother Nature gave us inside of Milton, but now we’ve got the second half. And I have to remind everyone who might still be in the eye now that there’s a lot more to go,” he said about the hurricane. “I think back to the Atlanta Falcons. First half Super Bowl winners. We know what happened in the second half with the Patriots came back to life, so do not sleep on the second half of Milton. We are definitely concerned now with the [second-half] surge.”
