Lions HC Dan Campbell Gave An Awesome Locker Room Speech After Win vs Packers: “We’re Destined For This”

The Detroit Lions secured a huge win on Thursday Night Football, defeating the Green Bay Packers for the second time this season, 34-31.

The win clinched a playoff spot for the Lions, marking the first time they’ve had back-to-back playoff appearances since the team had three straight trips to the postseason from 1993-1995.

The win was Detroit’s 11th in a row, and it secured the Lions’ second straight 12-win season. Both of those marks are franchise records.

After the game, Campbell gave a passionate locker room victory speech to his team.

“I’m so freakin’ proud of you,” Campbell starts. “That’s the way to show up. You talk about pressure, we live in pressure. That’s where we freakin’ thrive.”

“It doesn’t matter who’s playing for us, it doesn’t matter what’s going on, you always find a way to win,” Campbell shouted. Later adding, “This has been in the making, man. This has been in the making. We were all supposed to be here together. We’re destined for this.”

The 12-1 Lions will have another tough opponent in Week 15 when the Buffalo Bills come to the Motor City.
