Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen hit his hand on a helmet during Sunday’s 24-21 win over the New England Patriots and it got pretty serious.
Allen told Evan Washburn of CBS Sports after the game that he had “no feeling” in his right hand after taking the shot in the second quarter of the game and that his next throw “came out a little wobbly” as a result.
“It took a good 5-10 minutes of just making sure — trying to get some blood flow back in there and some activation. It’s a weird feeling, glad it’s gone now,” Allen said, via Jenna Cottrell of WHAM.
The win kept the Buffalo Bills alive for the top seed in the AFC but having a healthy Josh Allen is most important to their chances of finally getting over the help and beating the Kansas City Chiefs so this will be something to monitor as the week goes along.
