ESPN Announces Record-Breaking Ratings For Chiefs-Texans Game

On Monday, ESPN revealed its ratings for Saturday’s AFC playoff game between the Houston Texans and Kansas City Chiefs made its network’s history.

The network announced its telecast of the AFC Divisional Round game landed 32.7 million viewers, making it the most-watched NFL game ever on ESPN, dating back to 1987. Total viewership is expected to surpass 33 million.

The Chiefs defeated the Texans, 23-14, to advance to the AFC Championship Game where they will face Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills.
