Apparently, there is a beef brewing between ex-Atlanta Braves pitcher John Rocker and Patrick Mahomes Sr. as the two had an alteration on Bourbon Street after Super Bowl LIX last Sunday.
The two got into a verbal altercation that nearly turned physical before they were separated.
After the clip went viral on social media, Rocker took to Twitter/X to call out Mahomes Sr.
“This f–king loser can’t take a damn joke,” Rocker wrote. “Wish I laid him out right there and ruined his bulls–t weekend even more.”
Mahomes Sr. responded by calling Rocker a “menace to society.”
It’s unclear who started the fight or what was said between the two, but it is clear that Rocker and Mahomes appear to have some bad blood.Â
Rocker and Mahomes, both pitchers during their MLB playing days, were briefly in the majors at the same time. Mahomes played from 1992 to 2003 while Rocker was in the majors from 1998 to 2003.
