BREAKING: Panthers And Jaycee Horn Have Agreed On A Four-Year, $100 Million Contract Extension

There’s a new ‘highest paid defensive back’ in the NFL and he resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Carolina Panthers and Jaycee Horn have agreed on a four-year, $100 million contract extension that makes Horn the highest paid defensive back in the NFL on a per-year basis at $25 million per year.

The deal includes $70 million in guaranteed and was negotiated by Trevon Smith and David Mulugheta of AthletesFirst.

The Carolina Panthers selected the 25-year-old Jaycee Horn in the first round (8th overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft. He’s coming off a breakout season in 2024 earning Pro Bowl honors.
