Olympic Track Star Noah Lyles Backs Out Of Race Against Tyreek Hill Due To “Personal Reasons”

Track star Noah Lyles may be the world’s fastest man on paper, but when it comes to lining up against NFL speedster Tyreek Hill, it looks like he hit the brakes—literally.

The much-hyped showdown between the Olympic gold medalist and the self-proclaimed “Cheetah” was set to be the race of the summer: the ultimate clash of speed across sports. But in a shocking turn of events, Lyles pulled out of the race just days before the scheduled event, citing “personal reasons”, whatever that means…

The announcement comes just days after a video of Tyreek Hill ran a 10.15 100 meter dash in a California race and called out Lyles afterwards.

This isn’t the first time an Olympic runner has thought twice before racing Hill. Rumor has it even Usain Bolt once ghosted a charity sprint after hearing Hill was training in cheetah-print compression shorts.
