Bodycam Footage From Sheduer Sander’s 101 mph Speeding Ticket Released (VIDEO)

Police have released the body‑worn camera footage showing Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders being stopped on Interstate 71 near Strongsville, Ohio, for driving 101 MPH in a 60 MPH zone early Tuesday morning

The video begins with a stern officer questioning Sanders’ speed. Sanders—driving a black Dodge TRX—remains cooperative throughout, calmly answering questions and complying with the officer’s requests. As the interaction concludes, the officer softens, even tossing a light-hearted question: “How fast do you think you were going, if not 101 MPH?”

This incident marks Sanders’ second high-speed citation this month. Records show he was previously cited for traveling 91 MPH in a 65 MPH zone in Brunswick Hills, Ohio, on June 5. The court summons for that infraction was missed, resulting in fines totaling $269

For the 101 MPH infraction, Sanders faces either a $250 fine or the option to contest the fourth-degree misdemeanor in Strongsville Mayor’s Court on July 3.

Despite the charges, the bodycam footage highlights Sanders’ respectful demeanour on the roadside—cooperative, calm, and seemingly unflustered by the situation.

Sanders, drafted by Cleveland in the fifth round, arrives fresh from rookie minicamp as the Browns assess their quarterback depth chart. While his on-field potential continues to attract attention, this speeding incident may add a minor distraction to his early NFL journey.
