You’d think a dude with everything you could ask for in life nearly losing that life while speeding would learn his lesson, but apparently that isn’t the case for Myles Garrett.
Despite 7 speeding tickets during his NFL career including one following a crash that left his Porsche sports car absolutely totalled, Garrett was cited again for speeding early Saturday morning in Strongsville, Ohio.
Police pulled Garrett over at approximately 2:01 a.m. on Saturday—just after the Cleveland Browns returned from their preseason win in Carolina. Authorities cited him for driving 100 mph in a 60 mph zone along Interstate 71 in a 2014 Ferrari.
Garrett received a $250 speeding ticket. He faces a court date on Thursday, though he may opt to pay the fine and avoid appearing.
The Browns have not officially commented, and Garrett’s court date—set during the team’s joint practice with the Eagles—presents a potential logistical conflict.
