Oh No: Chrisitan McCaffrey Listed As Questionable For Sunday’s Opener vs Seahawks With Calf Injury

Christian McCaffrey is dealing with a calf injury again.

After being limited on Thursday, Christian McCaffrey did not practice on Friday and is listed as questionable for the 49ers’ season opener against the Seattle Seahawks.

49ers RB Christian McCaffrey, who went from a full practice Wednesday to being limited on Thursday, did not practice today due to a calf injury.

After practice on Friday, McCaffrey spoke with reporters and explained the situation.

Christian McCaffrey: "Unfortunately, when you have the injury history that I have, sometimes when you don't practice things get blown out of proportion, but I feel great."

Everyone remembers what happened last year when McCaffrey seemingly missed the entire season with a calf injury so seeing this pop again seems to be worrisome but McCaffrey assured the media that he feels “great” and plans to play in Sunday’s game.
