REPORT: 49ers TE George Kittle Expected To Miss 3-5 Weeks With Hamstring Injury

The San Francisco 49ers’ Week 1 over the Seattle Seahawks didn’t come without a significant cost.

Not only did the Niners signal caller Brock Purdy suffer multiple injuries, but the team will now be without star tight end George Kittle for 3-5 weeks after he suffered a hamstring injury during Sunday’s 17-13 win at Lumen Field.

Niners head coach Kyle Shanahan made the initial announcement Monday regarding Kittle, saying he would miss a “few weeks,” but said no IR decision has been made just yet.

Entering 2025, injuries remain a huge issue with the San Francisco 49ers.
