NFL Has Instructed Officials To Watch For False Start During ‘Tush Push’ Play Following Chiefs-Eagles Game

Yeah, this is probably the last year of the Tush Push.

Following the controversy during the Eagles-Chiefs game last Sunday, the NFL sent training tape to game officials, saying the Eagles should have been called for a false start that went unpenalized on at least one of their tush pushes during Sunday’s win over the Chiefs.

The NFL has instructed officials to call “these plays tight and make sure that every aspect of the offensive team is legal.”

The Eagles aren’t the only ones that run the Tush Push quarterback sneak but their effectiveness has a lot of people complaining about the lack of officiating on the play.
