An absolutely devastating loss for the 3-0 San Francisco 49ers.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the ‘fear’ is that star 49ers’ pass rusher Nick Bosa has suffered a torn ACL that will end his 2025 season.
After the game, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters that the team didn’t believe that Bosa suffered an ACL injury but an MRI and additional tests proved otherwise.
Bosa finishes the season with 17 tackles (four for loss), three quarterback hits, two sacks, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery through three games. The 27-year-old, a former first-round draft pick, is now in his seventh NFL season and is considered a cornerstone of the 49ers’ defense.
