Aaron Rodgers Said Steelers Had To Use Silent Count At Home Because Of Traveling Packers Fans

Green Bay Packers fans bought the home field advantage to Pittsburgh on Sunday Night Football as they faced off against their former quarterback, Aaron Rodgers.

Not only did the Packers handle business on the field, 35-25, but they gave their team a home-field advantage at Acisure Stadium. After the game, Rodgers said he had to use a silent count because his teammates couldn’t hear him at the line of scrimmage over the noise of the Packers fans.

“Packers fans travel really well,” Rodgers said. “First time in a while I used silent count for a home game. That’s a credit to those Packer fans.”

Rodgers was asked about hearing the fans chant “Go Pack Go” and said that’s something he’s heard many times.

“I’ve heard that chant for 18 years,” Rodgers said.

Rodgers and the Packers fell to 4-3 on the season and will host the Indianapolis Colts in Week 9.
