
When Daniel Jones was ruled out with an achilles injury, you knew it wasn’t good and now it’s been confirmed.
According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, Jones suffered a torn Achilles tendon during the first half of Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars and will miss the rest of the season.
Florio adds to his report that Jones’ immediately knew he tore his achilles and that explained his instant frustration when he went down. Riley Leonard stepped in for Jones after the went down.
The Colts lost 36-19 and fell to 8-3. They’ve now lost four of five and are in danger of missing the playoffs after such a promising 7-1 start.
