The Kansas City Chiefs were eliminated from playoff contention in Week 15 after a 16-13 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers and wins by the Buffalo Bills, Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars.
This scenario was not something that Chiefs star defensive lineman Chris Jones was aware of during his press conference as he had an awkward exchange with reporters.
“We still have a fighting chance.. wait, we’re eliminated from the playoffs?”
Here’s the awkward moment:
On top of being eliminated from the playoffs, the Chiefs also lost Patrick Mahomes for the remainder of the season to a torn ACL.
