Sean McVay Was Not Happy About The Puka Nacua Controversy After Loss vs Seahawks (VIDEO)

Sean McVay was not happy with Puka Nacua’s actions throughout the week.

Following the Rams’ 38-37 overtime loss to the Seattle Seahawks, McVay was asked about Nacua’s acts including his actions on a livestream and a since-deleted tweet criticizing the officials.

During the press conference, McVay said he had no idea Ross and N3on were on the team’s property.

“Yeah, I don’t know anything about that stuff. They came on our property?” he asked Artis Twyman, the Rams’ VP of communication.

McVay also addressed the controversial dance that Nacua did on the live stream.

“He was very apologetic. I don’t think he understood the totality of some of the things. I think he issued that apology,” he said. “I know this guy’s heart. And for anybody that was offended, terribly sorry about that. I know he feels that same exact way. He’s a young guy that’s a great kid that’s continuing to learn about the platform that he has. I love him. We’re going to continue to put our arm around him and help him learn and grow.”

Nacua also posted a tweet immediately after the loss and McVay learned about it during the press conference. Clearly, McVay was not happy about that, either.

“What are you talking about?” McVay replied. “So what are you asking me about right now? I can’t answer questions about something that I’m not aware of.”

The Rams are going to continue to support Nacua despite the controversy but there seems to be some growing up that needs to happen on Puka’s side.
