One of the top free agent running backs is off the market.

According to multiple reports, Travis Etienne Jr. has agreed to terms on a four-year contract with the New Orleans Saints.

Etienne, 27, is entering his sixth year in the league after the Jacksonville Jaguars selected him 25th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft, pairing him with former Clemson teammate Trevor Lawrence.

He missed his entire rookie season with a foot injury but quickly hit the ground running upon his return, totaling a career-high 1,125 rushing yards and five touchdowns in his first year as a starter.

After a down campaign in 2024 where Etienne averaged a career-low 37.2 rush yards per game, Etienne bounced back this past season with 1,399 scrimmage yards and a career best 13 touchdowns, emerging as one of the top available running backs in this free agency class.
