
Joe Tryon-Shoyinka’s NFL career is over five years after he entered the league as a first-round pick.
The Eagles, who signed Tryon-Shoyinka in March, placed the defensive end on the reserve/retired list according to multiple reports.
Tyron Soyinka was the 32nd overall pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2021 draft. After four seasons, he signed with the Cleeveland Browns. He didn’t last long as Cleveland traded him to the Chicago Bears during the 2025 trade deadline.
He signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in March 2026 but is opting to retire, ending his career. He finishes his career with 160 tackles, 15 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 8 pass deflections.
