The Patriots brought A.J. Brown to New England to be their bonafide ‘WR1’ and during Tuesday’s joint practice with the Indianapolis Colts, Brown showed exactly that.
During 1-on-1 drills, Brown absolutely schooled Colts cornerback Sauce Gardner, making him nearly fall to the ground on a crips route.

It’s important to reiterate that it is just practice but the Patriots have to be happy to see Brown be able to make elite cornerbacks look this discombobulated, albeit in drills.
