Saints Rookie WR Jordyn Tyson Suffers Hamstring Injury, Could Miss Time Into Regular Season

The New Orleans Saints will be without their standout rookie for a while.

Head coach Kellen Moore told reporters on Friday that first-round pick Jordyn Tyson will missed time with a hamstring injury he suffered during Thursday’s joint practice with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

While Moore did not provide a timetable for Tyson’s recovery, he noted the receiver’s injury could potentially linger into Week 1.

Moore added that this injury is not related to the previous hamstring injuries Tyson has suffered throughout his collegiate career.

Tyson was the No. 8 overall pick in the 2026 Draft, with the Saints envisioning to pair him with Chris Olave to have one of the better receiver duo’s in the NFL.
