The New Orleans Saints will be without their top rookie for the start of the regular aseaosn.
On Sunday, New Orleans placed Jordyn Tyson on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury as part of their moves to reduce their roster to 53 players on Sunday.
While Tyson has been designated to return, he will not be eligible to play until New Orleans’ Week 5 matchup with the Vikings.
Tyson suffered a hamstring injury during a joint practice with the Jacksonville Jaguars earlier this month. With Tyson having a history of hamstring injuries, the Saints seem to be playing it safe.
The Saints selected Tyson at No. 8 overall in this year’s draft.
