A.J. Brown’s debut got off to a solid start but then it was over.
On the first possession of the second half, the Patriots wide receiver left the game after suffering an ankle injury while trying to haul in a Drake Maye pass.
He left the game and walked to the locker room to get x-rays. It’s clear those x-rays didn’t come back clear as Brown was ruled out for the remainder of the game.
The Patriots offense has struggled to put anything together since Brown’s injury but are clinging to a 10-3 lead in the fourth quarter.
