The 49ers simply can’t shake free of this injury bug no matter how far away they get from the electrical substation near their team facility.
Midway through the second quarter, rookie wide receiver De’Zhaun Stribling injured his left ankle early in the game
He could not put any weight on his left leg and needed help to get to the sideline medical tent. Eventually, Stribling was carted to the X-ray room.
The 49ers quickly ruled out Stribling with an ankle injury.
Demarcus Robinson is now operating as the Niners’ clear WR3 behind Mike Evans and Deebo Samuel. Stribling didn’t draw a target prior to his injury.
