The New York Jets will be without Breece Hall for a little bit of time after the running back suffered a quad injury in the Jets’ 31-24 loss to the Detroit Lions.
The Jets consider Breece Hall “week-to-week”, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. An MRI reportedly revealed that Hall’s injury isn’t as significant as initially feared.
Hall had 32 rushing yards and 23 receiving yards in Sunday’s game before exiting.
The 25-year-old got off to a hot start in Week 1, rushing for 102 yards. However, he’s struggled since, accumulating 61 rushing yards on 29 carries and averaging 2.10 yards per carry.
The 1-2 Jets play the Chicago Bears in Week 4. If Hall can’t suit up, running back Braelon Allen would be expected to step up. Allen has 19 carries for 61 yards and a touchdown this year.
