Rams Sign Brandon McManus, Making Him Their Third Kicker In Two Weeks

The Los Angeles Rams revolving door of kickers continues.

After losing newly signed kicker Blake Grupe to a season-ending ACL injury in Week 6 against the Arizona Cardinals, the team signed Brandon McManus to replace the replacement.

McManus brings 12 years of NFL experience and a championship pedigree to Los Angeles. The veteran spent his first nine seasons with the Denver Broncos, where he won Super Bowl 50. Most recently, he kicked for the Green Bay Packers across the 2024 and 2025 seasons, converting 44 of 51 field goal attempts and 62 of 63 extra points.

The signing comes at a critical point for the 2-4 Rams, who are looking to rescue a season hampered by injuries. Alongside the kicking change, the Rams also placed defensive tackle Poona Ford and wide receiver Davante Adams on injured reserve on Tuesday, adding urgency to the team’s need for error-free football.

McManus is expected to make his debut this Sunday when the Rams travel to face the Las Vegas Raiders.
