The Jacksonville Jaguars will be without key offensive lineman Anton Harrison for the remainder of the season after arthroscopic surgery discovered that he suffered a torn ACL in his right knee, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports.
Jacksonville had previously placed Harrison on injured reserve on Oct. 13 following his exit during the team’s Week 5 win against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The injury occurred when the 24-year-old was blocking a right-side sweep for running back Bhayshul Tuten. After separating from a block, Harrison reached for his right knee, went to the turf, and ultimately had to be carted off the field.
A former 2023 first-round pick (27th overall), Harrison made the transition from right tackle to left tackle during training camp this summer. Jacksonville had previously signaled its long-term belief in Harrison by exercising his fifth-year contract option back in April.
The Jaguars sit at 4-2 on the season and are on a Bye Week.
