After the San Francisco 49ers’ latest 44-33 win over the Jaguars, which is probably the most impressive win of the season, RB Carlos Hyde was feeling very confident.
He was feeling so confident, he offered the boldest statement for what the future holds for the San Francisco 49ers:
#49ers Carlos Hyde: “Minus our record, we’re a really good football team. Next year we’re going to win the Super Bowl.”
A pending free agent, Hyde said: “I feel we’ve got a chance to go the Super Bowl next year and I don’t want to go to another team.” pic.twitter.com/ARBNmsBeUU— Cam Inman (@CamInman) December 25, 2017
Since a 24-13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on November 26th, Jimmy Garoppolo has taken over as the 49ers starting quarterback and has gone a perfect 4-0. On Sunday, he led the San Francisco to their biggest win of the season and did it by scoring 44 points on the best defense in football — the most the Jaguars have given up all year.
Garoppolo threw for 242 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
The future is bright for the San Francisco 49ers with Jimmy G at the helm.
