When the Seattle Seahawks take the field again, they might look like a completely different team.
The Seahawks missed the playoffs for the first time in six games in-large part because the team lost players like Kam Chancellor, Cliff Avril and Richard Sherman to injury and early indications are they might not be getting Chancellor or Avril back:
“Cliff and Kam are going to have a hard time playing football again,” Carroll says of Avril and Chancellor, but indicates it will be their decision.

Both Chancellor and Avirl were placed on IR earlier this season due to neck injuries. Chancellor has stayed quiet about his future while Avirl has went on record stating he has given no thought to retirement.
As for the Seahawks, it was rumored that Carroll could retire at the end of the season but that was quickly shot down by Carroll himself.
Expect many changes to come to Seattle as the Seahawks could look like a completely different team in 2018.
