REPORT: NFL Teams Didn’t Hire Mike Vrabel Because They Were Afraid Of His “Physical Stature”

After the Tennessee Titans parted ways with head coach Mike Vrabel, many believed he wouldn’t be unemployed for long.

But that wasn’t the case as all the seven head coaching vacancies were filled and Vrabel was shut out of this year’s hiring cycle and according from a report from Dianna Russini of the Athletic, the reasoning is hilarious.

Apparently, Mike Vrabel’s physical presence scared teams away. In other words: He’s too big.

Russini did mention that there’s interest in Vrabel for defensive coordinator job but it remains unclear whether he’d take a “pretty shocking” demotion after a successful tenure with the Titans.

For now, Vrabel remains big and unemployed.
