Miami Dolphins wide receiver has found himself in hot water again.
This time, Hill is being sued for battery, assault and negligence after allegedly breaking a woman’s leg during a backyard football workout at his Florida home, according to a lawsuit obtained by the Daily Mail’s Ben Ashford.
Influencer/model Sophie Hall says that Hill charged at her with “crushing force” after she managed to “hold her own” and knock him backward during football drills. The hit by Hill knocked her to the ground and resulted in her breaking her leg.
The lawsuit adds that Hill signed Hall’s child, who is an offensive lineman, for his football camp last May and the wide receiver eventually flew her out to his Miami home, per the lawsuit.
Hill advised Hall to act as defensive lineman and rush at him as if she was sacking the quarterback, per the lawsuit. Hall did as she was told and caused Hill to be pushed back and getting laughed at by witnesses who were there, including the defendant’s mother, sister, friend and trainer.
This angered Hill, who then forced the two to switch positions, having Hall has an offensive lineman and him as a pass rusher. He then, “charged into” her with “crushing force” that resulted in her breaking her right leg, the lawsuit states. She says she needed reconstructive surgery and months of physical therapy on her broken leg.
The lawsuit adds, per the Daily Mail:
“Tyreek Hill, a National Football League superstar, perennial Pro Bowler, First Team All-Pro and world class athlete nicknamed the ‘Cheetah’ for his incredible combination of strength and speed, makes his living humiliating and outperforming his competition on the football field.
“Unfortunately, after getting ‘humiliated’ in front of friends and family when he was knocked backwards during a friendly football lesson by his friend Sophie Hall, Tyreek became enraged and forcefully and purposefully shoved Ms. Hall, severely fracturing her leg.”
The 29-year-old Tyreek Hill hasn’t released a statement regarding the allegations.
