Dolphins Star Pass Rusher Jaelan Phillips Out For The Season With Knee Injury

As of the Dolphins season couldn’t have gotten worse than it went Monday night…Miami will be without Jaelan Phillips for the rest of the season.

After losing Tua Tagovailoa until at least Week 8, the Miami Dolphins are relying on their defense to give them any hope of winning football games with an anemic offense that simply can’t put the ball in the end zone without their starting QB.

Jalen Phillips, the cornerstone of that D, was back at full strength after suffering an achilles tear last November vs the Jets in primetime, but is now once again out for the season after suffering a knee injury in Monday night’s game against the Titans that will require reconstructive surgery.

Phillips announced the news via an Instagram post.
