Bengals Suspend WR Jermaine Burton Without Pay For Today’s Game vs Bills

The Cincinnati Bengals already announced that wide receiver Jermaine Burton is not with the team for today’s game against the Buffalo Bills, but they’ve now announced that not only is Burton inactive, he’s suspended without pay.

The one-game suspension will cost Burton approximately $60,000.

The reason for Burton’s suspension has not been revealed. His tenure with the Bengals has been a rocky one with the frustration overtaking the production Burton has done on the field. A 2024 third-round draft pick, Burton hasn’t played at all this season after catching just four passes last season.

It seems like his time with the Bengals is over.
