
Los Angeles Rams legend LeRoy Irvin died at the age of 68, the team announced Thursday.
Irvin was a defensive back and return specialist that played 11-years, making two Pro Bowls and four All-Pro teams. The former Rams great totaled 35 interceptions during his time in the NFL.
He was the 70th overall pick in the NFL Draft.
Irvin had been battling throat cancer, according to reports out of Los Angeles.
