We all remember when the plans were released for “Jerry’s World” the ginormous billion dollar plus Cowboys Stadium and its pair of ridiculously big video boards. A few years later the Texans topped the bigger brother with a massive video board of their own.
Well apparently not everything’s bigger in Texas. The Jacksonville Jaguars as a part of their stadium renovation that includes cabanas and pools at the upper level suites, now has completed the world’s largest video board at a sporting facility on planet Earth.
According to the Florida Time-Union’s Gary T. Mills, Jacksonville’s new boards are 362 feet in length and 60 feet tall. In comparison to Dallas and Houston, this screen makes the famed 160 and 277 foot boards look minuscule.
This graphic really shows the monuments scale of the new board in comparison to the other 31 NFL Teams’.
The Jaguars advertising team even took to billboards to poke a little fun at Texas’ teams.
Here are the previous top spot holders of the NFL in Dallas and Houston.
The new board even tops Texas Motor Speedway’s “Big Hoss.”
